Investment board Associate Role

Recently added SWS, associates will be responsible for assembling one to two stock pitches each semester. Associates have completed two semesters on either Research Team or the Global Macro Team and have financial valuation experience that will be essential in this role, allowing them to bring valuable insights and skills that will drive both their success and the quality of the pitch.

These pitches are an opportunity to showcase your analytical skills and understanding of market trends you gained over the last year or more. Associates can pick the company they choose to pitch, exploring a specific industry of interest to them. While each pitch will be done independently, you’ll have access to a network of experienced mentors who are available to provide guidance, address any questions, and offer support as needed. Materials to compose stock pitches will be provided by the Investment Board. Once your analysis is complete, you will present your pitch to a panel consisting of executive and investment board members. Each presentation will last approximately 20 minutes, followed by a Q&A session where you will be expected to defend your analysis and respond to feedback.

Associates will be selected based on previous credentials, knowledge of the industry, performance in Research Team / Global Macro Team, and ability to create insightful presentations. Full SWS members may apply to be an Associate at the start of the semester, and applications will be reviewed by the Executive Board.
